The Bluebook was described as a "used" book, so I was unsure what condition it actually would come in. The book was just as the seller described ."In good condition" I need it for a class I am taking and the price was just right and the description of the condition true and reliable. This book is the most comprehensive collection of correct grammatical constructions of any citation you may ever need. I used it all through paralegal school and lost my original copy in a move. But Amazon had this obsure book and I was pleased. In any legal profession this book is a "must have." I used it as a student and now I am in the profession and I am still using it. The usage of this book is timeless.
Yes, its well organized. And its complete. The question is what's going on with the court system. The trade talks want to preclude US courts and give authority to opportunity cost arbitrators, lose the U.S. Constitution and hail to unelected administrative agencies. So, get an Intro to Legal Research book; and like the dollar bill - the court system is a pyramid. Start from Supreme Court rulings and work down. Oh, and digests - if some public paid tax law school actually does not block you from actually knowing your rights.
I bought this for a research and writing class I am taking at my local college and needed to find it cheaper than I would have at the bookstore. It serves its purpose and actually came the day an assignment was due, so I found it quite useful. There is a new edition out, but our teacher let us use the older edition as the newer edition can be quite expensive.
The book was definitely in okay condition-not good. The edges are all bent like water was on it.The bluebook kind of sucks. It has very poor organization. But, you'll be using it alot. Yay law school.
Very sturdy cover/looseleaf pages are easy to turn.
I'm usually concerned about purchasing items on line, especially books. I can honestly say that this experience was worth it. I would recommend this seller to anyone interested in purchasing good quality books at extremely reasonable prices.Buy with confidence, I did!
