I would give this no stars if it was an option. The images are black and white copied photos that look like newspaper images. And I know this says "adult" coloring book but because it is Harry Styles who has a following of young girls/teenagers, I didn't expect there to be inappropriate images. I bought this for my 16 year old daughter and was shocked at one of the images. They should definitely have a disclaimer. Extremely disappointed and returned it.

Luckily I bought this as a joke for my Harry-obsessed daughter, but do not buy this if you actually want to color. It's just photocopied photographs.

Basically just a book of black and white images anyone could find online. Not a true coloring book, just a book of photos. Pretty sure they are likely copyrighted as well. Poor quality. Would not recommend.

This is an awesome book! I read it years ago when I had cancer and was given only 6 months to live. It has been 33 years now and this book, while not being able to say it was totally this book, helped tremendously in my own education about cancer and how to help my body heal from it. The last time I loaned it out, it didn’t come back so I bought another and will co tonite to share it with others!I highly recommend it!

This lady is a quack. This is all foolishness, including the diy build of a "detecting" machine. A complete waste of money.

This is against the book, not the company. I began reading and when things really sounded crazy, I began to research. I found the author spent years trying to avoid lawsuits for being a fraud and having cancer patients' teeth extracted, and then died of cancer herself. Not impressed. Beating Cancer with Nutrition is a much better choice! I have stage 4 GBM (brain cancer) and my progress has shocked my doctors since I've been eating this way. High pH water is also important for staying healthy.

She seems to say that EVERYTHING is bad for you. Some of what she says is just common sense wrong

After much grad school research, I found this to be the only treatment for adolescents with ASD that is backed by extensive research. I was so impressed after writing a report on treatment that I purchased the program! Beware of made-up programs that have not been tested. I think this program is more effective because it requires the student to engage in social interactions outside the group. Any school can do this!

As a school psychologist, I recommend this curriculum to school based mental health professionals. I utilize this book in collaboration with a Speech and Language Pathologist and incorporate Social Thinking practices. There are times when I have to modify, but the book lays down a great foundation.

This curriculum is really great. I have seen progress for my students on the autism spectrum. It helps students reach their goals and increase social skills.

Really liked this book. It's nice addition to the TMI family. I love those books. I really like the angelic rune on the cover. That's why I bought it in the first place. (well, that and it has to do with TMI)

I purchased a couple of these for my nieces for Christmas and they were a hit. Even my daughter, who is married with kids of her own now, still LOVES to do these, so she was excited to see the nieces each got one. I purchased this one, "Sleepover Party Mad Libs" Sleepover Party Mad Libs and "Dog Ate My Mad Libs" Dog Ate My Mad Libs, since our other niece just got a new puppy recently, so that one was perfect for her. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. These are even a great reminder for me, refreshing my knowledge of the parts of speech, so I am better able to help them with their homework, if necessary. These were a much appreciated gift and I will certainly purchase more Mad Libs for gifts in the future. They're ALWAYS a huge hit!!

MAD LIBS are awesome! Had them decades ago when we were kids and it's great to get some for my 8 year old daughter now. We've been having a blast doing them and keep buying more. If you're considering them, go for it. You can even use the pages more than once if you kinda write small and leave room. They're educational and inspiring. My daughter and I love to do them with Daddy and she even sometimes likes to make her own. Great for learning and inspiring creativity. Totally worth it!

I was sending my daughter to sleep away camp for the first time and wanted to send her the perfect care package... to be delivered the first weekend she was there. I wanted items that were different, unique, and very camp specific. I loved Mad Libs as a child and was incredibly pleased to find not only a camp specific one, but this sleep over one. To me summer camp is just one long sleep over. I sent it as part of the care package and, of course having an 11 year-old, didn't hear a word about it (yes, she thanked me). When she returned, I unpacked her to find a fully filled out Mad Libs (the other mad libs as well). i asked her about it and she told me that the entire cabin got involved and that it was so much fun for all of them. I will have no problem sending the exact same one next year!!

I bought this for my 11 year old daughter for the sleepover she was invited to. I guess it was a hit because she kept face timing me going over the answers! Definitely a good buy!

I have great memories of doing Mad Libs with my siblings as a kid, so I bought these for my seven year old daughter. I get a kick out of watching my kids do these retro sort of games that I used to enjoy. She loves this one! It's one of those activities where she tries to do the entire book the first day because she thinks it's so silly and fun She didn't know the terminology at first (adjective, adverb, proper noun, etc.) because they haven't covered that in school, but she picked it up by the end of the first page or two. I wouldn't recommend this for a kid any younger than seven, even if they can read pretty well, because the difficulty is more about knowing the grammar terminology.

MadLibs were a favorite when I was a child, and now I've passed the giggles onto my daughter. She and her best friend stayed up laughing filling these out at their last sleepover. I highly recommend for some good silly fun. It's also a great review on nouns, adjectives, verbs and adverbs.

Purchased to add to a "sleepover" themed gift basket being put together for a school carnival. Surprisingly popular this and any other mad libs is a great not-electronic-centered option for parties with kids who are old enough to fill them out.

The Koreans fought with the courage of desperation and eventually repelled two invading armies with the help of Chinese troops, rugged terrain, worse weather, and the naval superiority of Admiral Yi Sun-sin, an outstanding sea warrior. Admiral Yi may not have built the first ironclad warship, but he certainly deserves his status as, Turnbull says, "Korea's greatest hero." The war devastated Korea, decimated the samurai class (to the eventual benefit of Shogun Tokugawa), and cast a shadow over relations between the two countries from that day to this. The Imjin Wars of 1592-1598 were pivotal in changing the face of North East Asia. The wars bankrupted Ming China, making it vulnerable to attacks from the Manchu (thus contributing quite a bit to ending the dynasty), traumatized and insulated Korea, and ended Japanese international adventurism till the 20th century and set the stage for the Tokogowa Shogunate. The book itself is very handsomely crafted, with a beautiful jacket and many color and b/w illustrations inside. Every other page is watermarked with the outline of the painting or print from the following page. One of the few cases where the books matches the expectations set forth by the cover. Turnbull has obviously spend a lot of time researching and it shows. He evenly displays the Japanese and Korean side of the war. An excellent first book on the subject written in English. He clearly shows how the Japanese method of war compared to and interacted with Chinese tactics based on sheer numbers and Korean guerilla and fortification based tactics. Also does justice to Admiral Yi's amazing naval victories at sea, and more importantly how it aided the Korean land battles and conversely frustrated the Japanese. Turnbull gives a good description of the unique Turtle Ship as well. The Imjin War was a very important event in Northeast Asian history, and hopefully this book will spur on more study into this area by observers in the West.

WHY SO DAMNED EXPENSIVE??? Unless you have the money to burn (I don't) then I would suggest Turnbull's Osprey edition Samurai Invasion Of Korea...much more affordable. However, I did read this book from the library, and it was an excellent book...which is why the prices here are so annoying!

Not so far from my house here in Massachusetts, there is a long, sandy beach. A lone pine stands guard by the small dunes near the entrance. On a windy day, you can hear the wind singing in that tree as you look out over a group of rocks that sleep like turtles at the waterline. The cold sand strewn with clam shells and the often-gray skies stretching to the horizon can take your mind flying to the past or the future. How can I imagine the pointless violence of a Japanese samurai army that set off to conquer China and even India because of the wild hubris of a Japanese military strongman? Korea wasn't even their main goal; they only wanted to pass through on their way to "conquer Ming China". Back in 1592, a huge Japanese army suddenly landed near Pusan, the southernmost port of Korea, which had been at peace for two centuries. The Japanese had been involved in civil wars for several centuries and so were supremely ready to fight. The Koreans not only were unprepared, but they argued and refused to cooperate among themselves. Some of their top generals simply ran away. In a blitzkrieg, and with the use of arquebuses (better than the Korean weapons), the Japanese reached the Yalu River in the space of a few months, but supply problems, the Korean guerrillas that sprang up, and the appearance of a huge (if inept) Chinese army come to help the Koreans, turned them back. Only the famous Korean Admiral Yi Sun-sin kept his head and inflicted several major defeats on the Japanese at sea, causing those supply problems later. The Japanese had to retreat to the southern coast where they built a chain of forts and hung on for 6 years. In 1598 it all started up again. Several more huge battles and though the Japanese won most of them, the military strongman (Toyotomi Hideyoshi) died back home and the whole idea collapsed. What was the idea? Well, as I walk along that beach, I can't perceive any idea at all. The Japanese killed hundreds of thousands of people, sent innumerable baskets of salted human noses back to Kyoto, looted, raped and burned most of Korea, and created the conditions under which starvation and disease killed a huge number more. Were they the only ones who ever did this? I despair. We are crazy monkeys. If, however, you are interested in military history or the history of East Asia, this book is a must. It is filled with illustrations, excellent maps, and a very readable text. It is the first book in English that I have ever seen that covers the topic of these tragic events which definitely affected Korean and Chinese history for centuries afterwards. The author does not take a side, does not cast any blame. (Though one must say that the Koreans were hardly to blame for all this.) I can't imagine a better book on a subject about which I knew nearly nothing before. So, while I still feel that the human race hardly learns anything from history, maybe as individuals, we can. Reading this book is one way.

The war that I have always wanted to learn more about in detail has finally been written in a 'more than you will ever need to know' detailed account in English by Mr. Turnbull. I had always waited for an English account on this war. The Pros: The book is very very detailed, much more than I would imagine a typical book on the war written in Korean would be. The author does a fairly good job of setting up the historical pretext for the war to give the reader a better understanding of why Korea had such troubles defending itself. Although the title suggests more Japanese overtones, the author does a very excellent job of detailing the Korean side of the war, much more than I had expected. The book has great personal accounts from the war and frequent insightful anecdotes. Moreover, the book reads like a war novel, and it kept me reading till I read every single page (trust me, I am not a 'whole book' reader usually!). The cons: Not much cons, except for the fact that the story does jump around a bit in terms of chronology, so you may have to flip back to several previous chapters once in a while for reference. The author does this for understandable reasons, but it can still be confusing and inconvenient to do so. Although I did like the set-up of the first two chapters, I do wish the author could have explained more of how and why the Japanese were so superior in military techniques as opposed to the Koreans (ie-the Japanese were lifetime warriors after coming out of a feudal Japan, as opposed to the Koreans). Also, the book would have been much easier for the reader had there been more maps of the war and diagrams (showing battles) as I found myself constantly referring back to the initial battle map in the third chapter for place names and general names, etc. Overall, you will NOT find a more detailed and interesting account on this devasting war which led to a no-win situation for both countries.

David Baldacci writes books that hold your attention. His series of books 1) King & Maxwell 2) A. Shaw Series, 3) Amos Decker Series, 4) Will Robie Series, 5) John Puller Series, 6) Camel Club Series are all great along with his "stand alone" books. But for the "series" books, read them in order to get introduced to the characters and so that you are aware of previous events that are referred to in later books in the series. I have read them all and await his next book, whenever it is written ."Last Man Standing" is one of the "stand alone books".

I'm a Baldacci fan, but for me this book disappoints in several ways. Lost a star as a result.The worst part is the continual formatting issue throughout the Kindle version--on almost every page, no exaggeration--in which the dialogue of one character is added to the dialogue of another in the same paragraph. The run-on and non-paragraphed dialgoue took me out of my 'suspension of disbelief' each time as I struggled to work out exactly who was talking.There were also two very long conversations in which the author used no character tags whatsoever and I literally forgot which character was speaking. Had to go back and try to work it out so I could follow the plot. There's nothing wrong with names and 'he said,' Mr. Baldacci.And finally, wow, the ending. Uh, quite a lead up and quite a let down for me. Probably for the main character, too. I would also like to suggest that the author spend a little less time showing off his encyclopedic knowledge of guns and horse trailers, etc. (Am from Virginia and grew up riding horses....)Write a non-fiction book, if you must, but get to the story, please.If you like Tom Clancy's style, in which the author teaches a class in the middle of each chapter, well, then this book might be just the right thing for you. I've read the Will Robie books and Memory Man more than once. I would not pick this one up again. Amazon and Warner Books, get your Kindle formatting corrected. I sent corrections to Amazon as I plowed through. Surely, you have professionals who will do this for pay?

This book was very disappointing; it moved very slowly and had poor character development. It could have used an editor for sure! There were several punctuation errors that made me cringe, but the total use of the wrong word floored me! On more than one occasion a character was "put through the ringer"-no kidding! There was encyclopedic information about weaponry, if that many people are interested. I felt like it was written to be filmed as an adventure movie. I am hopeful that this a one-time aberration on Mr. Baldacci's part and not a degeneration like Patricia Cornwall had with her Kay Scarpetta books.

I can't judge prose very well, but this is okay. It's certainly better-edited than some recent stuff out there. There are two main problems: the plot, and the setup.The plot is overly complex with 3-4 separate threads, and then huge coincidences are contrived to interlock those threads. Those coincidences have nothing to do with the novels resolution, save to allow a single sequence to bring all the threads to an end. As bad as the worst television I've seen ...Compared with the travesty of the plot, the setup is merely lame. The FBI has lots of fine folks and I'm sure their paramilitary teams are skilled, tough people. However, the idea that FBI hostage rescue team personnel are far more deadly than those of hardened, black (i.e., unacknowedged) SOCOM teams is absurd.I pushed through to the end of this to have the right to post this review. Your reading time is better spent elsewhere in this genre.

Web London has been hailed as a hero in previous missions with his hostage rescue team (HRT). He's been severely injured and carries the scars and disfigurement to prove it. But on the latest mission, everything goes horribly wrong. Web survives an unsurvivable situation and is suspected of being a coward or crook because he survived. For the rest of the story we follow Web as he tries to find the truth, meanwhile doing what he has always done, helping those who need it.

This novel by David Baldacci, CLEARLY and BELIEVABLY shows it. That ALL members of our top government agencies, EVEN ALL of the members of the F.B.I. starting from way down at the bottom and then ALL of the way on up to the very TOP executives of the F.B.I. that are "Calling the Shots" - are ALL susceptible to ALL of the SAME temptations and weaknesses that you and I are ! Amid all of the fast and violent 'action' that is packed into this novel, THESE two important facts are what this author has SO brilliantly "illuminated" for us !

David Baldacci has done it again. He has jumped into a new genre of topics and has produced a book that was a wonderful read. It has action, suspense, and a little gratuitous sex thrown in at the end for good measure. I read this in less than a week. It wasn't until the very end that everything became clear, and the pieces fit like a glove. I hate when I read a story and I find the pieces don't fit together, but in true Baldacci style even though the story line was convoluted at first but this was by design. Our hero had to go through hell but being in the pre-verbal s$%^t is nothing new. But our hero does weather the storm but when he exits the other side what we have is a new Baldacci hero that I see numerous stories in. If you like to read a story based around one of the heroes of our society, with a plethora demons that dog him but he also has a large contingent of friends who also will stand behind him and help him to prevail. Great book.

Excellent character development, generally slower-paced than his others and the story took a while to develop. It was a bit too wordy, too many plot deviations and perhaps too long. I really enjoy Baldacci. I consider him to be in the Vince Flynn mold but this was not one that I "could not put down". Nevertheless, when finished and reflecting back, it was still a good book. I've read most of his books (if not all of them) and always look forward to the next one.

If you’re not big into long reads, and you’re perfect novel is roughly 250-300 pages long, uh…you might have a hard time here. But if you’re willing to give it a go, there’s something oh-so-satisfying about a self-contained, one-volume fantasy epic. There’s a beginning, a middle, and an end. There’s no Game of Thrones-esque situation where you’re endlessly waiting for the next book which may or may not be over 1000 pages. The whole story is there, in one big volume, no waiting for sequels. I didn’t realize just how sequel-fatigued I’ve been until I sat down and made my way through this book. No mentally steeling myself for a cliffhanger followed by a two-year-wait. I haven’t felt this way about an epic fantasy novel since Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell. Who knew you can have an entire world confined to one volume! Hurray!Priory is nothing less than epic. In one book, Shannon manages to create an entire world, complete with over a thousand years of history, various conflicting religions, generations upon generations of royalty, dozens of nations, and a sea full of pirates. Pirates! There is pirate action in this book! Are you not convinced? I mean, there’s dragons - and not just one sort of dragon, either. Also, did I mention the whole book has a very, very strong feminist bent to it? How much more convincing do you need? If you like dragons, if you like epics, if you can make it through 800 pages, then you need to read Priory of the Orange Tree.

This book was so worth the 4 year wait. I remember when Samantha Shannon was talking about writing something that was not of The Bone Season world. It wasn't until she finally announced that it was a book that was going to involve dragons, forbidden magic, and romance where I was finally like I need this in my life. Now 4 years later I can finally say that Priory of the Orange Tree was everything I needed in a Epic Fantasy and more.Samantha Shannon creates such complex and rich worlds filled with influences from all over the world and it shows heavily in this book. It is something that I appreciate very much because it shows how much time she went into her research for this novel. The world of Priory is vast in scope and we get to see most of it in just this one book but even after finishing this behemoth of a book I am left wanting to explore more of it. I just want more and I hope and pray that we do.This particular story follows 4 main points of view. We follow Ead, Tane, Niclays, and Loth. We also follow some minor side characters but it's these four that really bring the story to life. It's refreshing to know that all four have their own journey and their own emotional arcs. No one copies the other. I enjoyed the reading from each of their perspectives but I do have to say I have a soft spot for Ead and Tane. Every time they hit the page I smiled. That is not to say I didn't enjoy Loth or Niclays.To wrap this up I will just say that this novel hit all my weaknesses and checked all my boxes and I just want more stories in this world. Whether it be with the same cast of characters or new ones.

Five stars for the book contents! I am not finished but so far am loving this very much.One Star because I received my copy with a broken binding. Thought about sending it back but have waited so long for it to come out I didn't want to wait to get another copy. So taped it and dug in......

What can I say? This is the BEST FANTASY BOOK I HAVE EVER READ IN MY ENTIRE EXISTENCE.Let me elaborate.First of all, this book had the best character development that I have ever read in a story. The characters felt so very very real to me and I made instant connections with them (I either loved them or despised them). Next, the storyline takes twists and turns that are simply flawless. This book went to places that had me either crying with sadness or smiling with joy. For me, the ending felt right and wasn't too "and they live happily ever after." Shannon could easily (and hopefully!) write another book as a sequel or even a spinoff of it following some of the characters after the events that occurred in the book.If you couldn't tell already, I really really adore this book and can certainly see myself rereading this beast of a book later in my life just to see my beloved characters again and enter back into a world full of magic, dragons, suspense, love, heartbreak and elation. A must read for everyone.

The Priory of the Orange Tree is an epic fantasy set and this is probably the longest book I have read this year :)I believe this is a very classic type of fantasy, but it was well written and full as to my liking. The world is both familiar and new. I was absolutely taken by the amount of things happening in the book and the variety of characters. It has everything here: the unexpected twists and turns, the gossip of the palace, the secrets, the passion and love and the epic battle. Dragons are absolutely magnificent creatures here.This is definitely not a book for a day, it needs time to be able to go and live in the world and events that are happening. This was a good read.

I devoured this book in defiance of all schedules and productivity. The joy of discovering and exploring historical analogues with DRAGONS and WITCHES and LESBIANS was incandescent. Just really marvelous stuff and I was charmed through and through. Any book with a section heading "Thine is the Queendom" cannot help but be perfectly wonderful. Will be recommending all over the place!

This came in handy for me as I am writing a book about training a deaf dog . Great book for kids who might like to train their dog with hand signs. It does use British sign language which sometimes differs from ASL.

Not enough instruction on cards. I bought this for my dog loving 9 year old grandson, but I think he was either overwhelmed or underwhelmed!

I like it...I prefer actual books over ebooks, especially when I'm using them for reference. But, I like the content.

It was British sign language and it wasn't very helpful. It's very short and really nothing to it. I was very disappointed.

The book was very well done but written more for children and not quite what I was expecting.

Most of the signs I see for dogs are mostly the same. These were pretty good. Only had to change one or two.

Very little reading - like 2 pages literally which worked for me. The book got right to it. Basically flash cards with pictures and movements. The essentials for training a deaf dog. Easy to understand and easy to learn. Best $3 I could have spent on an e-book.

Symbols are easy to replicate, can't wait to start teaching my own Dogs, even though they are not Deaf. This is a really good way to Bind with Your Dog so all eyes are on you!!!
