This book is great, it’s very informative and set out in an easy to follow way. I wish I had read this book before my own surgery as it would have been great for me but also for my family so they could understand what I was doing and why! If you struggle with weight and are looking at ways to lose some weight and become healthier that doesn’t include the latest fad diets, then this book is a great start! It has a list of questions that you may need to, or should, ask about the surgery. Although each health insurance policy is different and has different hoops to jump through this book does offer some great insight and information regarding the basics that shall be required. Weighed Down? Why Wait? By Jennifer Larsson. Thank you Jennifer for sharing your story and providing a good run-down of what to expect going through the surgery process. Many people have varying reasons for wanting the surgery and by providing your personal story and struggles, I though it helped with the why part of doing it. Like you said, the process is not a quick or easy one.
