This is a deceptive title. I was expecting a current book on how to use the Shopify platform. One that walks you through the process, showing screen captures, going through all the drop down menus, etc. This book has none of that. It is a generic guide for those who want to set up an online store - and is capitalizing off of the Shopify brand. I should have suspected something when I noticed that the continuous left page header was spelled incorrectly! ("Sopify") If you are looking to use Shopify, do not spend your money on this book. If you want generic advice you can find anywhere on the web - go for it. VERY disappointed. Cover is extremely misleading.
Self-published, verbose, poorly-written and neither edited nor even proofread based on the typos and grammatical errors. Made my eyes bleed by the fifth page. That said, there was exactly enough value in it to get my money's worth out of it, even though nearly every sentence was painful to read. I got several good nuggets though some of the jargon was over my head and it assumes knowledge I do not yet possess about doing business online. The author reinforced my belief that Shopify is the right platform for my business, and he was spot-on in his assessment of the exceptional customer service they provide.
Presents the basics, but no helpful tips or secret details. Screams self-published. Filled with typos and grammatical errors. Heading on all pages says Sopify.
Very vague, not a step by step book. Waste of time.
Pretty basic, easy but not very in depth. Also quite short, only around 100 pages. Grammar and spelling issues are distracting
